Journalist and critic at the Egyptian newspaper Al-Fagr, he had headed the Egyptian newspaper Al-Gomaa in addition to several television programs specialized in cinema at Nile Variety, Nile Cinema and Dream TV. Fayek participated in several jury at several Arab and international festivals in addition to many workshops and selection committees not to mention his published articles. His TV program entitled EGYPT COULD, which he writes and presents, has recently achieved a noticed success.
